Charity Trustee Networks have a list of relevant events being held around the country. They also have a list of Trustee Networks that sometimes host their own training and events.
 
Try Local Infrastructure Organisations (LIOs) such as Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS), Rural Community Councils (RCC), Settlements and Social Action Centres. Find your local LIO with this directory from the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA).
 
Find you local Rural Community Council at Action for Communities in Rural England (ACRE).

Find you local Settlement or Social Action Centre at the British Association of Settlements and Social Action Centres (bassac).

Find your local Community Organisation at Community Matters (the National Federation of Community Organisations).

There are other local organisations that support management committees that you may be able to locate by talking to you local council or library. Some are affiliated to the Scarman Trust or Community Action Network (CAN).

Governance Works are running a series of courses for Committees concerned with Arts and Culture. See the GOLD website for further details.

Courses of interest to management committee members are being increasingly offered by local Further Education (FE) Colleges and Institutes affiliated to the Workers Education Association (WEA).
